Earth Bound: Easter II

Orion has made his migration west,
And the full moon pointing to Easter
is a quarter moon away.

The heavens are calling us to life,
And the many layered snow covers
the earth like a pall.

We know of Lazarus only by hearsay,
And we wait for the earth to give up her dead
while the glistening white snow shows her
Easter colors.

In 1998, Rev Weaver compiled a series of seasonal theological reflections which he entitled Earth Bound.  This is one of a series.
