Special Projects for 2008

Year A, Pentecost 2008:

For the month of October (Proper 22 through 25) using the Revisec Common Lectionary with a focus on "Special Recognition of the Place of Food in our Lives". The project consists of Bulletin Inserts, support for homilists, liturgists, and musicians, and related materials. To get to the entire listing, click here.

Year A, Easter 2008:

Creation Season Materials. MEESC has prepared materials (bulletin inserts, sermon notes, resource materials, liturgical references) for Creation Season 2008 to run concurrently with Easter Season, 2008. Materials are available for download or printing.

• Mary Brown Environmental Center: MEESC began co-operating the Mary Brown Environmental Center with St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Ely, MN.
• Creation Season Materials: MEESC has prepared materials for use in the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota for Creation Season 2006 as declared by Bishop Jelinek and set forth in the Resolution to Celebrate Creation Season (passed at the 148th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota, October 2005).

• September 4—Forest Sunday: "All the trees of the forest sing for joy (Ps. 96:12)
• September 11—Land Sunday: "Let the field exult and everything in it" (Ps. 96:12)
• September 18—Wilderness Sunday: "Let the wilderness lift up its voice" (Isaiah 42:11)
• September 25—River Sunday: "The river of God is full of water" (Psalm 65:9)
