Next Meeting:
Vernal Equinox 2010

The next meeting is the Vernal Equinox Meeting, to be held March 19-20, 2010 at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour, 515 2nd Avenue NW, Faribault, MN (map).

Meeting Schedule:

The meeting begins at Noon on March 19 and runs into the afternoon of March 20. Special Guest will be Mike Schut, Episcopal Church Staff Officer for the Environment and Economic Issues.

Bring a sack lunch for Friday noon and pot-luck food to share for the rest of the meals (Supper on Friday, Breakfast on Saturday, and Lunch on Saturday), plus snacks to share.

We plan to sleep at the church (bring sleeping bags and matresses). Overnight housing is available in the area if you prefer a motel. Please contact Tom Harries (952-884-7993) if you need a place to stay, and tell him what food you will bring to share.

  • Take I-35 Southbound from the Twin Cities
  • Take exit #59/Faribault (I-35-Business Loop)/Le Center onto MN-21 S toward Faribault
  • Turn Left on MN Hwy 60 Westbound
  • Continue to follow MN-60
  • Turn Left on 2nd Avenue NW
  • Turn Right on 6th Street NW
  • Arrive at 515 2nd Avenue NW, Cathedral is on the Right
    • For overnight Parking: turn Left on 1st Avenue NW and use the lot at the Faribault Daily News or the bank
    • For Daytime Parking: onstreet parking is available on 1st Avenue NW and 6th Street NW.

From the South:

  • Take I-35 Northbound toward Minneapolis
  • Take exit #55/Faribault onto Lundale Avenue S (CR-48 Northbound)
  • Turn Right on MN Hwy 60 Westbound
  • Continue to follow MN-60
  • Turn Left on 2nd Avenue NW
  • Arrive at 515 2nd Avenue NW, Cathedral is on the Right
    • For overnight Parking: turn Left on 1st Avenue NW and use the lot at the Faribault Daily News or the bank
    • For Daytime Parking: onstreet parking is available on 1st Avenue NW and 6th Street NW.

From the West:

  • From Mankato, MN, take US-14 Eastbound toward MN Hwy 60 Eastbound
  • Turn Left on MN-60
  • Turn Right on 215th Street (County-17)
  • Turn Left on Oriole Road (County-48)
  • Turn Right on MN-60
  • Turn Left on 2nd Avenue NW
  • Arrive at 515 2nd Avenue NW, Cathedral is on the Right
    • For overnight Parking: turn Left on 1st Avenue NW and use the lot at the Faribault Daily News or the bank
