Creation Collect for Proper 25, Year A:

Almighty and everlasting God, increase in us the gifts of faith, hope, and charity; and, that we may obtain what you promise, make us love what you command; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

or

God, we thank you for all the provisions made for the needs of humanity, for the ordered course of nature and for the miracle of the abundance by which our life is sustained. Grant us grace to distribute this abundance, not according to the caprice of what nature has given to one and withheld from another, but according to your love for all your children. Most especially do we pray for your spirit upon this nation, that it may not perish in surfeit while much of the world perishes in need. Grant that we may have ears to hear and eyes to see the need of the anxious and troubled peoples of the world. Amen.
- modified from a prayer by Reinhold Niebuhr in his posthumous book (edited by Ursula M. Niebuhr) Justice and Mercy (Harper & Row, 1974), p. 96.

or

O Thou who art the Light of the minds that know Thee, the Life of the souls that love Thee, and the Strength of the wills that serve Thee, help us so to know Thee that we may truly love Thee, so to love Thee that we may fully serve Thee, whom to serve is pefect freedom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
- written by William Temple. Note: This prayer is best made available for the congregation to read
